Cal City to begin energy savings with LED lighting

CALUMET CITY, INDIANA David P. Funk Times Correspondent A plan to replace street and traffic lights in Calumet City with brighter and more energy efficient LED light bulbs is underway. In a memo to city officials dated Dec. 28, Lyons and Pinner Electric Maintenance Superintendent Wally Kleinfeldt said the move would save the city on energy costs.
